I am getting sick and tired of users registering on my site just to make a post selling their wares to make money. So, I thought I would put some text on the registration page saying advertising is not allowed unless the user pays $10 and then can access the whole site but any advertising etc can only be placed in the one forum called Advertisements otherwise the user will be banned. But, I am unsure how to go about all this especially in trying to automate it all.

I gather the components would be:

1. The Registration page

2. The Advertisements Forum

3. How does the new user make the payment

4. The usergroup the new user goes into

Any advise on how I can set all this up, thanks if you can

You would set up a subscription for this, as shown in the following guide, and have that subscription add a group to their account

That new group, you would give permission to use your new advertisements forum.

Go through the commerce guides here in the basics section, so that you know how to use commerce and set up payment methods for people to use

In terms of the registration page, you could change the subscriptions settings to show on registration if you wanted to do so
