Posted February 16Feb 16 I have some standard topic threads that are created by the "Files" app but people cannot reply to these threads because of this at the bottom:I have gone into the ACP, ticked "disable archiving" so no more get archived. There was a prompt afterwards which asked if I wanted to unarchive existing topics, and I am sure (I think!) I clicked on the correct option. But the topic is still archived. I researched this and understand the "unarchive" process is a task, but looking in the ACP this task is finished, so I'm not sure what to do now.The only thing different I can think of is these are topics that are auto-generated when the "File" was approved. Is there a way to run a task and "unarchive" any topics that are still archived? Thanks to anyone who has any ideas :) Edited February 16Feb 16 by Neuro
February 17Feb 17 It will unarchive items very gradually on the site. Its not an instant switch. This is why you will still be seeing things archived. They will be unarchived over time.
February 18Feb 18 Author Thanks Marc! Ok that should be fine. I will be patient and let the task do its thing.Maybe as a suggestion when an admin chooses to to tick “never archive” there could be a little message afterwards explaining it isn’t instant 👍
