The new Images Widget in Pages now only shows one image at a time. There is no option available for showing more than one image at a time. This is wasting a lot of space.

Uploading images to the gallery and using the gallery widget isn't an option because the Pages Images Widget has additional functionality which the gallery widget doesn't have.

With the Pages widget you can show a customizable caption and you can insert a link to a different area of your homepage. The gallery widget can't do that.

So please return to more than one image at a time.

An additional feature could be that you don't need to upload an image but you can provide a URL to an existing image.

This has been fixed in 5.0.1 due out later today.
