This keeps repeating each and every day... and it becomes a hassle to keep banning these spammers. If the IP Address of the user got banned, number of these spam registrations should be lowered.

Why is "Ban by IP Address" not rendered when IP software sends puts the user in approval mode due to the filters we set up? Approval mode is indicative there is something fishy about the user and it is only graceful to render Ban by IP Address. Is there a reason for "Ban by IP Address" not rendered for all users and always?

At times, it gives the Ban by IP Address for existing users and if we don't choose it while banning, the option is not rendered again.

Adjust ban should also have the Ban by IP Address option.

Spammers try to get into the system by posting a couple of non-spam messages to pass moderation phase and they keep spamming months/years later due to no more moderation on them.

"Ban by IP Address" should be rendered always for all users including long-standing users in case they turn rogue.

In 2025 we do not really recommend banning by IP address. It's incredibly easy to bypass. It is also something where you can accidentally ban real people. We have seen people ban IPs and end up banning entire networks.
