February 4Feb 4 While there isnt really any need to, you can do thisThe below assumes you are on the latest release, that you are using a default uploads folder, and that you have no other folders related to 3rd party items, outside of applications and pluginsMake a backupWhen you think you made a backup, check again to make sureSwitch the site offDelete everything other thanApplicationsdatastorepluginsuploadsconf_global.phpconstants.php (if you have one)Upload a fresh set of files from your client area
February 4Feb 4 1 hour ago, Canis said:Yes, it's on 4.x.Are there any procedures for cleaning up old installations? In addition to what @Marc posted above, since you are already doing a clean up, it would be best imo to do check the database too for any old left over data that might have been added from third party stuff that aren't currently in use anymore. They do nothing, but clutter up the dataabse and they might also cause issues down the road. And as always, should you decide to do that, don't forget to make first a backup of the entire database.
February 4Feb 4 Yeah. If you have old 3.x files still around, you most likely also have old/unused tables (and columns) in your database. I often perform these kinds of cleanups.
