Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted February 2Feb 2 Hi all,A member reports (with a screenshot) that a red warning triangle appears next to her avatar. There are no warnings against her account, and I can think of no other possible trigger. The triangle does not appear to moderators or admins (nor to, as far as we know, any other members). Any suggestions? Failing this, I guess I'll have disable apps, but we are using nothing new, there are no other similar reports, and there is nothing unusual about her account.

February 2Feb 2 A red triangle warning usually means the member's emails have been bouncing and so is blocked by the system (on cloud). It should prompt a member to go to their account settings to update their email address.
February 3Feb 3 Get them to point at the icon, see if that tells them what it is. If not, get them to screenshot what they are seeing

I had forgotten, but this member also reported problems with email notifications and was intending to contact Invision about this.@Marc I have had prior discussion with Invision about my Mail Undeliverable list not being populated. Assuming this is the cause, this member does not appear in the list, so I cannot fix the problem for her. Please address the Mail Undeliverable problem for me.When she clicks the triangle, nothing happens. Edited February 3Feb 3 by Como

But when they open up their profile drop-down there's an additional red triangle to point them in the right direction to the Account Settings page (/settings/), which has a specific error notice:In the meantime of Daniel F assiting, to troubleshoot maybe try directing the member to their /settings/ page to check if there is a notice in there?
