As SendGrid API integration is going away, what will be replacing it?

Thanks,

This is what i have listed for the v5 prep

"SendGrid API integration is currently configured, this will be disabled and email sending reverted to Invision Community in the Cloud when upgrading to v5."

Will this be a temporary change?

I'm sorry, you can ignore that specific text. We'll get that fixed.

If you currently use SendGrid it will continue to be available after upgrading to v5.

Thank you for the info!

SendGrid API integration is currently configured, this will be disabled and email sending reverted to PHP when upgrading to v5.

So this is incorrect then? Becasue that caught my attention this morning and would 100% stop us from upgrading to v5.

That said, if you’re using SendGrid, you can continue using it!

Or not.... it got removed from my site. Quite annoyed.

Is there any specific reason SendGrid is being depreciated? It's been a good service for me. Plus, Stu's bouncer plug-in works with it.

To clarify, you were already using sendgrid? If so, thats an issue and we can get someone to look at that

Yes, I've been using it for years. The only reason I noticed that it got pulled was because there was an outgoing deferred e-mail stuck in my local server queue which should never happen because the server isn't used for e-mail

This has been logged, as per the other topic :)
