It's been a while. I've missed a ton, but I'm catching up; the product suite looks excellent!

Quick simple question, is 5 beta available to cloud customers yet?

Not for upgrading to. But it soon will be

Thanks, so its the time-limited setup for now I understand...

I'm planning to make a few apps/API things, and that is different I think between versions.

As it will be a new community not sure going with 4 and then upgrading is a good idea, maybe better to wait?

I guess is soon ~ wait for full release or soon ~ we will allow beta before... :)

The only person who can really answer that question will be yourself. In terms of apps, they will indeed change. If you are using the API, then things should just work. It also depends how long you wish to wait before running the new version 5 release

Happy to run beta from the get go if it’s soon, if it’s a while away then I’ll start with 4 and not do too much customising.

I’m also not upgrading, so is it live for new communities? Confused sorry.

Its not live for new communities either, no. Only for beta testing. It certainly wont be very long at all before you can use it though

Sorry just read this…

So I can start with beta now and it will still be upgraded and not time limited?

Edited by h_ybrid

At the moment you would need to start on 4, and it can be upgraded later
