Posted December 23, 2024Dec 23 For some reason, the first post of new members is put into a mod queue requiring approval before it shows. Any additional posts are also put into the queue unless that first post is dealt with. It doesn't matter if it is approved, not approved, or whatever, but then subsequent posting are automatically shown. This condition did not exist prior to the 4.7.19 upgrade. I checked permissions and all are as they were before so I'm a little lost as to what is going on. Might it be some update to spam settings that is now creating this condition? I have looked but can find no way to alter this condition. Help would be greatly appreciated, we do not want to have to approve a new members first post. This condition exists across both websites. Thank you for your consideration.
December 23, 2024Dec 23 Solution This may be spam analysis detecting something in these posts as I see a few topics getting this in your logs but it shouldn't be every post: You can manage this in ACP -> System -> Smart Community -> Features -> Spam Analysis.

I have it disabled as people in the past have messaged me when I'm offline or thought messages meant they could get 1-1 support and it caused a kerfuffle so now, it's just easier to tell individuals to put things in topics so any staff member can address it. 51 minutes ago, My Sharona said: Can you please remove the screen shots?
