Turned off Tags under Posting > Tags > Tagging Enabled - OFF

But they are still rendering on All Activity, My Activity Streams, Unread Content, Content I Started, etc.

Switching off tagging would switch off the ability to use them. I dont believe it would remove ones already present

It should “remove” from viewing, if that’s what you meant.

Just for further clarification -

Turning off Tagging System turned them off from topics, articles, blogs, events, etc. and don't display them anymore and cannot use them either as expected.

However, they still display in Activity, Streams, etc.

I fixed it for the next release
