I've just enabled Google Maps, and now Events: Overview displays a Happening Near You block at the top of the page.  All our events are in a small area, so this is useless and occupies the prime space on the page.  How can we disable this block?  If we can't, will we be able to in v5?

There is no way in which to disable this at the present time (nor in version 5). You could change the default layout if you wanted to? This can be done from Community>Events>Settings. Feel free to post this up as a request within our feedback area, if you wish to see changes in this area in the future

I disabled map integration instead.  Overview is a good presentation, but it's ruined by the top block.  Will file to feedback.
