Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted August 4, 2024Aug 4 Hey Invision team -- I'm working on importing my old users into my Invision cloud implementation and a small chunk of just 1,000 users crashes the site (see attached error message). I have 200k legacy users. Doing the migration in 200 x 1k chunks would be incredibly painful but if even chunks of 1k time out (progress bar got to about 30% before it froze) then I feel pretty stuck. Is this typical? Is there a work around without needing custom API code? Can you import them on the back end for me? I'm literally just moving about 7 fields of textual data for these users. Eric

Otherwise, you could work with IPS sales and they might be able to do some sort of mass import for a fee as well. https://invisioncommunity.com/contact-us/
