[BUG 4.7.12] Revisions for CMS Database Date fields show the timestamp rather than a formatted date

When adding a Date Field to a database that stores revisions, the comparison shows the timestamp rather than a formatted date.

Here's an example:

Quote

Date

===

Revision
1691971200

Current
16919712057600

A revision showing the above doesn't help, especially if the user doesn't know that that "weird number" is actually a timestamp.

A formatted date using the member's locale should be shown instead, including the time if the field option is enabled.

Where exactly is it you are seeing this occur?

You need to click the Revisions link when viewing the record where the field was changed:

And this is what the Revision page shows:

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
