It seems that the notifications list is not fully responsive. Longer phrases cause the scroll bar to appear.

Are you able to clarify what device you're using to produce this issue so I can look into it further? Using an iPhone Mini, the text still has a decent amount of breathing space:

 

Sure, I'm using Nokia with Android, but with an enlarged font. When I reduce the font to 100% everything fits, but I can imagine that many people can use larger text on their smartphones.

The second thing is that a longer phrase will do the same thing and the font size won't matter.

Thought I'd report it as a bug.
