hackinOS Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 I don't know. But i'm using SMTP, not using SendGrid. SeNioR- 1

Randy Calvert Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 Either you need to get a hosting provider that does not limit the number of emails you send per hour, or you need to get an external mail provider that allows it (such as Sendgrid). Unfortunately this is a hosting issue, not an IPB issue.

Guys, i have added Sendgrid, but background process still working via PHP (old method). can i pause it or change it to sendgrid while processing? Randy Calvert 1
Maxtor Posted November 19, 2022 Author Posted November 19, 2022 More problems with sendgrid. 99% of their ips are blacklisted for spam. hotmail has ban sendgrid. i think ips must support more options such as mailgun and more..
Maxtor Posted November 20, 2022 Author Posted November 20, 2022 i think there should be a change on how "Force password reset" works. 1. IPS dont need to send email notification to change password to all members ( i have more than 200k members). 2. If a member try to login, then redirect to change password form. Ive seen it to other platforms.
Randy Calvert Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Feel free to make the suggestion in the feedback forum. However… this is a hosting issue. You need to find a host that does not limit your mail. hackinOS 1
teraßyte Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Not exactly a solution but add a global announcement that shows everywhere about the forced password reset. That should help avoid confusion when your members aren't able to login with their usual account.
