Ramsesx Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 If moving a mp4 file into the editor it says: mp4 is not supported but it does embeds the mp4 file.
teraßyte Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 (edited) You get that error when you drag& drop the files inside CKEditor itself. You need to use the attachments area at the bottom instead (where it says Drag files here to attach, or choose files...). Edited November 12, 2022 by teraßyte

This software allows to drag and drop into the editor directly. Try it with images, this works without any error. For me it's a bug.
Nathan Explosion Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 (edited) It's because CKEDITOR introduced a change in their clipboard plugin (I think it was v4.19 of that) that produces the message. It looks like it can be 'worked around' in code but it is up to IPS if they want to account for the new functionality that was introduced by CKEDITOR. Gary Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Hi @Ramsesx, Thanks for highlighting this. I will pass it onto the dev team for review. In the meantime, and what @teraßyte was explaining, you can click the 'Drag files here to attach, or choose files...' and upload your .mp4 file that way which will not display the error message. I will follow up once I've heard back from the team. Ramsesx 1
