Posted October 14, 20222 yr a. I got report that my Forum "Quote" function does NOT work. In Firefox, when I click quote it just jumps to the top of page. NO Javascript error shown in browser console, NO System error. b. Upgraded to latest 4.7.3 with php 7.4, flush my CDN and restarted my server. c. I am currently having some issues with my SMTP provider. But I feel it cannot be related. d. Any suggestions ?
October 14, 20222 yr Community Expert You say "in firefox" there. Is it working in any other browser? If so, have you disabled all plugins on that browser?

Firefox disabled the plugins especially my blockers and restarted Switched to test on Chrome. All CANNOT Quote d. Based on several "feedback" from my community, it seems alot of folks all cannot "Quote" on my forum. Thanks for looking at this.
October 14, 20222 yr Community Expert You would need to be using a default unaltered theme, of which you dont have at present. You need to create a new theme and test on that. It is worth noting that first you need to address all the issues showing in the support area of your admin CP. At present you have quite a few issues there, including files that arent up to date. These need addressing before anything else.

Yes default is ok but when I revert all changes in the custom theme there are still issues. I suspect a old custom edited css file is not being shown in the editor. I may restart my edits manually from a new copy of the base theme and see if that helps. Not desired, but I’ve spent too much time debugging.
October 31, 20222 yr Community Expert If you do have an issue once its default, please let us know what the theme is, and update your access details. We can then take a look to see whats going on
