Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted June 24, 20222 yr Community Expert I've noticed that when someone adds a quotation mark (") in a title, it messes up the the URL name and notification email titles. For example, on my site, "Quotation marks" results in quotQuotation-marksquot in the URL. Apparently it works fine here, so perhaps this was fixed in 4.7? Edited June 24, 20222 yr by Jamynee
June 24, 20222 yr Author Community Expert I have another topic that has the character — in the title, and for example one — two results in one-—%C2%A0two in the URL.
June 24, 20222 yr Community Expert I also cannot replicate on my test instance (also 4.7) so I would recommend letting us know once you are on that release if you still have the same problem.
October 16, 20222 yr Author Community Expert Unfortunately I still have this issue in the current version of Invision. It also affects email notification as shown in the screen capture below: https://www.logicprohelp.com/forums/topic/128310-how-to-change-quotfreeze-modequot-quickly-on-multiples-tracks/
October 16, 20222 yr Author Community Expert Actually that's an old thread, that's why the URL had that issue. Newer threads don't have that issue. On the other hand the email notification title is still an issue.
