Moskus
I'm missing something basic, but I just don't know what. (And I did try searching for this, but I've yet to find anything by googling it). We've created 3 tiers as subscriptions that are supposed to be renewed every month. The renew period is set, the (only) payment method is set to Paypal. I'm able to purchase the first setup, but after that the subscription just isn't renewed like I thought it should. What am I missing?
Solution Jim M Posted May 13 Solution Share Posted May 13 Are PayPal Billing Agreements (or PayPal Subscriptions) setup in your payment methods configuration? If it is set to required, these should auto-renew inside the PayPal system. However, if it is set to disabled or optional, it would not necessarily auto-renew. If set to optional, the user has an option to opt into that. Moskus
Moskus
Aha, that's probably it! I'll change it and try again!
Moskus
That seems to have solved it. I'll verify this tomorrow, when my test subscription should have auto-renewed.
Moskus
This is now working great! 🙂 Is it possible to reduce the amount of emails that are generated? I felt I was drowning in invoices, renewal notices and so on. Edited Monday at 12:26 PM by Moskus
Marc Stridgen
Are you referring to yourself in terms of admin, or the user? If yourself, then you can remove some of the email copies in Commerce>Payments>Settings>Email Copies. However as far as the user is concerned, there would be no way to reduce those, as each is needed.
