New members cannot access community pages

I recently registered a new member to our community portal through the AdminCP.  I entered their name, email address and assigned them to a Group that has access to all pages in our community portal.  However, after the member created their account (from a link in the email they were sent) and logged in, they received the message below.  This member is set up exactly like other members to the portal who are not having this issue.  We also noticed that the browser tab title displays "Sorry, you do not have permission for that!"  Also, the member can see all of our community menu and submenu tabs and is able to click on them, but gets the message below each time.   And, when the member clicks to sign out of the community they are unable to... same message.

I've checked everything I can think of but cannot figure out what is wrong.  I even created a new account to test (in case something was messed up when this member's account was created), but same thing happens.  Previously created member accounts configured with the same group don't seem to have this issue.  They can navigate the community portal with no problem.    Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

It would indicate the application is either offline, of they dont have permission to one of its modules. Do you have the name of the member so we can take a look?

As you are self hosted, we would also need admin access to be populated from within your client area too. Please let us know once you have provided that

Looks like you had both Subscriptions and Products requiring a purchase but the Commerce application was offline. This is a bug which we're working to resolve. I enable Commerce for you and disabled these items so things should be functioning per normal now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
