virap Posted January 12, 2022 Share Posted January 12, 2022 Topic feed is a great idea for building custom home pages etc. but I currently can't deploy it because it does not show read/unread statuses for content and there is no way to control font sizes/styles of the content displayed in the topic field. I know this probably can be done through custom blocks and templates, but why not add some advanced display control to the feed settings itself. Daniel F Posted January 12, 2022 Share Posted January 12, 2022 The read state can't be shown because the widget output is cached, meaning that it would return the read state for the first visitor who triggered the widget output which was now cached and which is returned to every other member with the same groups/permissions.
