PMs and Announcements - cannot add any text

Hi all,

I have a strange issue with both PMs and announcements - i cannot add any text. Running 4.5.4.2.

Can anyone help? Thanks

If using cloudflare, try clearing the entire cache

Not using Cloudflare. Site is hosted on a VPS with Hostgator.
