David..
Hello! Is there a way to prevent a testinstall community from causing mayhem while in a test server or localhost? I know disabling emails is the first thing to do. But what about anything else? How can I prevent other parts of the community from doing things it's not supposed to in a test install? Without having to disable all tasks. Is there a list of things that need stopping and how to?
CoffeeCake
If you use Commerce, be sure to consider subscriptions/payments. Any third party integrations where your community is telling something else to do something on its behalf.

Yeah, but is there somehow we can disable these functions without having to disable commerce altogether?
Randy Calvert
Can you create a separate set of credentials with your merchant provider and limit those credentials to test mode only?
