Hello,

Is it possible somehow to get a Custom smiley into the title?

Regular smileys seems to work with copy paste, but the custom ones doesnt. 

Regular smilies are Emojis, which can be used as they are just unicode text.

Custom ones are HTML content (actual <img src=""> elements) and cannot be used as HTML isn't allowed in titles.

Is there a way around it? 
To show it before the title perhaps?

Out of the box you cannot use raw HTML in topic titles.

I have found that copying and pasting html into a title does indeed work. It also breaks the page. 

 

This ability somewhat mystifies me in that while I can restrict a user group's html posting abilities, they still are able to post html they have copied from another site.

The topic title is not a WYSIWYG field so I'm unclear what you are referring to. I'd be interested in hearing the exact steps you are taking, and the exact result you are seeing after.
