Is there a way to externally embed blocks without spending $100 more to get the pages function?

This is what I'm referring to: 

 

The ability to embed blocks externally is unfortunately a feature of Pages, and you will need the Pages application to do this.

Damn, If it wasn't overpriced I would jump on it. Custom it is!
