Egorkin
The "Log in anonymously" checkbox is missing - is it necessary or has it been moved? :)
Dean_
It’s now found under your Profile account settings. But you can still enable or disable it globally in ACP. Edited August 26, 2020 by Dean_

Yes, this is correct although I don't agree with it. This seems like a poor design decision. If you're not logged in anonymously, but then wish to do so, you have to log in normally first, revealing (although for a short time) your online status. aXenDev
@Egorkin You don't set it up in your Client Area account, but here in the forum.
Egorkin
Apparently this is disabled for my group here. Have themselves on forums found. BUT! This is a very, very, very bad IPS solution. I ask you to return the selection to the login menu!!!
bfarber
We evaluated the behavior extensively and decided that the option is best served as an account option rather than a session option. This allows your preference to persist as long as you wish, and to persist across different devices. hmikko
Egorkin
I agree with this, it is more convenient, but if you move such an important option, you could make a warning (link) in the login form. 🧒 Haku2
