I had some issues with some plugin and apps which needs updating. I good thing to do is disable all plugins and apps before updating, then enable them one by one and check after installing the 4.5 update. sobrenome and SJ77 1 1
Chris Conley Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Do you have a link to the manual install instructions? Thank you!
Duken Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Indeed, but there is no news spread about the official release yet. Lets just wait a few days more 🙂 sobrenome 1
Nicholas Cole Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 The theme editor isn't working correctly, if you apply your own colours and font etc then it screws up the formatting completely. What is wrong with that? I'm not running any other themes, plugins or apps.

Egorkin Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 I will put on a small project, but on a large one I will wait a little - I am sure there will be a lot of fix bugs soon :)

The idea is to quietly roll it out so only a few folks upgrade, instead of everyone upgrading all at once. The support staff can become overwhelmed quickly if too many people upgrade all at once. sobrenome 1
Management Matt Posted August 21, 2020 Management Posted August 21, 2020 Yep! This is a soft launch to a smaller number of customers so we can iron out any issues we find (and we have found some 🤣) GazzaGarratt, sobrenome, SJ77 and 3 others 4 1 1

Nobiliana Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 Starting a new topic does not really work. I can type in the title. Typing in tags does not work correctly and typing in the message is impossible.

Specifically, it sounds like some of your javascript is not loading correctly or is causing an error. Running the support tool in the AdminCP may resolve the issue for you. sobrenome and GazzaGarratt 2
GazzaGarratt Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Yeah, I updated to 4.5 in my hastiness because I purchased Commerce so I had to update the rest of the site. There a few random things happening but I'm raising support tickets with the major things. Fingers crossed there shouldn't be many large issues 🤞 sobrenome 1

Unfortunately, too late. As I had done a back-up of the database and files before updating, I decided to return to the previous version. Though this did not go smooth really.
