Posted June 16, 20204 yr Hello, My forum has 155246 amount of registered users and 247.617 topics created. I assume it´s sending too many email notifications and this leads me to have the email server blacklisted. Are there any plugins or options that I am not aware that allow to limit the number of notifications that are sent? Thanks you for your answers.
June 16, 20204 yr Check to make sure you're running the latest version of 4.4.10 and have installed all patches available when you go to support > something isn't working. There was an issue that allowed spammers to use 4.4.10 and lower to use the "e-mail this to a friend" feature to send spam.
June 17, 20204 yr It's more likely the topic of your community that is getting you black listed, but you can check with your hosting provider to clear that up and check it, I see you have email disabled for sharing so the above is not the issue in this case.
June 18, 20204 yr Hopefully @Rhett has some insight into this and not just going off on a limb and assuming your site is not a clearinghouse for all things adorable puppies in people clothes then..... I guess if you run spammersandhowtospam.spam, then, yes, you may be asking for it. 😁
