Hi @Adriano Faria,

Please excuse me but I just bought your module but the import does not work at all for me.

Is there a problem now? It worked early on where it mattered half the title is the date of issue and the author's name but it didn't matter the description or the cover image.

  1. It works with: 1733387803
  2. It works halfway with (no description - no image): 2416003380, 2412073538 ...
  3. It doesn't work at all with: 979-8735452652, 979-8478189532 ...

I tried to activate the three functions but it is the same :

Quote

ISBN format length

  • Both 10 & 13 digits
  • 10 digits
  • 13 digits

Thank you for your help

You can't use the "-".

The API requires an integer number with 10 or 13 characters, unless they changed it.

Taking a look in their API to see if something has changed: https://developers.google.com/books

All the books I see uses 10 or 13 ISBN code len: https://www.google.com.br/books/edition/Heart_Diseases_and_Disorders_Sourcebook/fjtaAAAAYAAJ?hl=pt-BR&gbpv=0&bsq=heart

Oups ... Well I'm really sorry I misread the description. ... it works with Googlebook only not amazon 😞 sorry ...
I look for books on amazon.fr.

Can you please tell me how to activate the button "buy the book" only on Amazon.fr with my ref link.

Because I take the example of 9781719873413 the buy button directs me to https://www.barnesandnoble.com/noresults/9781719873413 or the book does not exist while on amazon yes: https://www.amazon.fr/s?k=9781719873413&i=stripbooks&linkCode=qs

thank you so much @Adriano Faria 😉

Your ISBN has 13 characters: 9781719873413.

As stated here https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/456245-books/?do=findComment&comment=2819169:

New setting to display a BUY THIS BOOK button in the book view

  • 13 digits ISBN format will add a link to Barnes & Noble store
  • 10 digits ISBN format will add a link to Amazon store

So if you want to use the AMAZON AFFILIATE, use a 10 chars ISBN, not 13!

I can't find this setting ...

Maybe because of this:

You seem to not read/hear what I say:

Change to USER, go to Account Settings and add the base URL there.

User or member, etc. Membre in your case.

Anyway, that's how it is. If it doesn't do what you want, then leave a feedback and I'll consider when I have to update the app.

Frankly I do not understand you really do not make an effort ...

I go through Google translation so I have a lot of trouble understanding and making you understand and I'm sorry ...

However I think it is not complicated what I ask ... I can not understand what you say to me and you make me a copy paste of the same thing ...

Frankly...

I'm just asking if it's possible to change the default (for everyone) to the amazon france store.

Let me try again: the option in Account Settings will show only using the MEMBER option in the setting you posted (image) but that will allow members to add their own Affiliate ID. You’re using SITE probably because you want all the books posted to use YOUR ID with a custom URL. As I said, it isn’t a feature now because it is probably using.com as a hardcoded URL.

You already made your point. I’ll consider when I have to update the app.

Yes by adding the URL directly there I can see the control panel

Will this help?

- New option to add the URL to your store if you're using the SITE option:

- The BUY button on book view pointing to your URL:

- Clicking in this button, will go to:

@Adriano Faria I've tried utilizing the Amazon Affiliate Program settings for both the User and Site with the same results.

None of the books I add will consistently show the "Buy" button.

Refreshing the browser sometimes makes it visible and sometimes refreshing the browser elicits no results whatsoever.

I looked at the page source code and noticed that when the "Buy this book" button is available you can find the following code:

Quote

<hr class="ipsHr">

<a target="_blank" class="ipsButton ipsButton_medium ipsButton_positive ipsButton_fullWidth ipsSpacer_top" href="https://www.amazon.com/dp/0525536221/ref=nosim?tag=affliate-code">Buy this book</a>
<hr class="ipsHr">

--Replaced my affiliate code with placeholder text--

When the "Buy this book" button is not available the code above doesn't seem to be present.

Not sure why your app sometimes includes the Buy button code and sometimes it isn't present.
