Do you mean inside the editor? I've just tested it and it selected for me.

Image result for random pic

Odd, it's not selected on my site.

Is it a setting?

Interesting.

It's selected for me when I edit your image.Bildschirmfoto 2020-03-02 um 15.00.51.png

Edit:

OK, there's actually a condition controlling this.

Quote

{{if round( $maximumWidth / $maximumHeight, 2 ) == round( $width / $height, 2 )}}checked{{endif}}

Not sure what the condition means, can it be removed?  I'd prefer it be selected all of the time.

Hello,

after I updated to the latest version (I was using 4.5 and I upgraded to 4.6.5.1), the "Keep original aspect ratio" is not selected by default:

How can I set it to selected by default?

Thank you!

Where should I put that condition? Thanks!

EDIT: I see on this forum is selected by default, but on my forum is not.

Also, what are the ckeditor plugins which allows to open this window when you double click on an image?

I may try to update the plugins and see if the problem is fixed.

Thank you!

The behaviour is controlled by an IPS specific plugin (ipsimage) not one that is available from ckeditor.com

Thank you Nathan. Was this added recently or it's always been like that? I can't see the plugin in my plugin list.

It's not new.

Not sure where you are looking but these are the IPS plugins in ckeditor:
