Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted January 25, 20205 yr I have a member that I need to be able to login as one other account. Where is the permission to do that? And is there a way to allow him to only login to one account or would it have to be all the accounts? Thank you!
January 25, 20205 yr Author That's unfortunate. We have an account that posts a newsletter, and I'd like to give the editor of that the ability to login as that account. Ah well. Also, (I haven't been able to find it), where is the permission to login as other members in the admin CP? Is it a toggle? Oh nevermind. I found it. Where are the logs located for checking to see who signed in as which accounts?

January 25, 20205 yr Author We don't have contact with the person who created this newsletter account originally. We've all just been using it for months, by logging in via the admin panel, but now a none admin will be needing to post as it, and we don't feel comfortable giving that kind of permission to a regular member. I realized there might be another way to do this. Is it possible to just change the author after making a forum post? Where would that permission be?

January 27, 20205 yr Yeah, just reset the password in the AdminCP and then give it to anyone who needs it.
