Can anyone direct me to where I can see these detailed logs?  I try to search and I'm only brought to the settings and the bandwidth usage statistic shows no details other than total.

The bandwidth logs that are stored are exposed via the bandwidth statistics page in the AdminCP.

You can also look up a user account in the AdminCP, then click the "Gallery" tab where the content statistics chart displays, and click on the "Bandwidth use" link to see an individual user's bandwidth consumption over time.

There is no table-view showing every bandwidth log entry if that's what you are after. You'd need to use phpmyadmin or a similar tool for that.
