Posted November 28, 20195 yr Hello, 🙂 I got this message after installing update : Quote  Payment method settings need updating Credit / Debit Card settings need to be reviewed. Payment issues may occur until this is addressed.  Is there a way to get rid of this message without having to register a credit card ? Thank you. 🙂
November 28, 20195 yr Or as in my case just delete the gateway if you don't use it. you can easily re-create it when needed.
November 29, 20195 yr Author Yes, I don't want to have my credit card details stored/registered. Since I had none, I registered one anyway to see if the message disappears. It's been five minutes and it's still here. I'm going to wait a little more. 🙂
November 30, 20195 yr Author I made a mistake since I thought it had to be done in the IPS client area. I have to do it in my ACP, right ? By the way when you click on the link on the board's index page, you get an error : Quote  Sorry, there is a problem The page you requested does not exist Error code: 2S100/6  But what is this for and is there a tutorial for this ? My site was just working fine before the update and I believe I don't need this... I already have a PayPal client ID and a "secret" which were created some time ago to allow members to become part of a non profit association and being placed in a special group on my board. But when I copy the client ID and secret in my ACP I get an error : Client Authentication failed Do I need to create a new PayPal application ? Thank you. 🙂
December 1, 20195 yr I have this coming up for a PayPal gateway and re-saving the configuration has not worked. Any ideas?
December 26, 20195 yr Author I fixed this by simply deleting the payment method which was causing the problem : it is called "UsedWithPaypal". I saw I already had my PayPal method configured so I deleted the "UsedWithPaypal" method thinking I could do it safely and the message disappeared.
January 2, 20205 yr There was a bug where having two PayPal methods with the same details could result in the message erroneously showing up. It will be addressed in an upcoming patch.
