Technically Maestro is from Mastercard so it sould work, right? Well that what i thought too, but i'm having doubts, because of the Store saying over and over again that (what the Bank claims is) my cardnumber as invalid. (also lil backstory for those that are confused. In mainland Europe especially where i live, most people including me have a Account number on there card, not a card number) And more importantly, is it possible for me to pay with something else than a cardnumber? opentype Posted November 27, 2019 Share Posted November 27, 2019 Maestro is not a credit card and can’t be used as such. You could however activate European payment gateways (like Klarna, GiroPay, iDeal) with Stripe that would allow payments with the bank accounts a Maestro card belongs to.
