Using mysql as login handler

Hello All,

We need to create logins for our customers >= 100K members. We would like to go with the option of using mysql database as login handler, once the logins created for all the members is it possible to force them to change their password on first login? Does this require any customization of the login modules? or I am missing any configurations as I don't see options to force customer to change the password.
