Referrals - made useful

Are there any plugins currently available or anyone able to make a plugin that will make the Referrals useful. I can't see much info about the current system but from what I've read its a very basic link (example https://mysite.com/index.php?/refer/1/) that can't point to specific content, and commission is only earned from members that sign up through that referral link so won't work if the customer is already a member.

It would be a lot better if members could make referral links for specific pages, ideally by just clicking the social share buttons and it automatically adds their user ID for them so any sales that come from that link earn commission for them.

I'm sure this would dramatically increase the amount of content that was being shared from our sites onto social media and it would be a great way to reward our members by giving them an easy way to earn money by promoting content that they enjoy

I tried to get something useful. There is one in the marketplace that I bought but it didn't do anything close to my exceptions. I ended up uninstalling it because frankly it didn't work.

We do need a clean and simple process for this. Like an affiliate that gets handed out and can be used on signup to give credit.

I have a plugin what does this, You can either add your own url and it will generate a new referrer link or you can choose from a list of topics / download files / calendar events / member profiles / gallery images they are plain text settings then once you start writing the topic title etc then it stats appearing for you to select what one

it all works with js and ajax so changes without refreshing the pages, I made it for someone a while ago so will message them and ask if I can release it to the public marketplace
