Create a block (calendar events or topic feed), untick "Show on all devices?" and unselect "Desktop". Save. The block is broken on mobile. It looks even worse if there is a customized background color. I use default theme with no customization on 4.4.6 (fresh install with no plugins or 3rd party apps).
