Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted April 26, 20196 yr Hi, I'm using forced subscriptions and therefore can't get to the standard registration page, I've checked a few other sites but they all have the registration pop up and can't find the direct URL.
April 26, 20196 yr Author Thanks, but that redirects to the subscriptions page when you have subs forced. I was assuming there'd be another URL somewhere.
April 26, 20196 yr You may be thinking of: URL/index.php?app=core&module=system&controller=register But that'll take you to the same place as URL/register It'll go to whatever the default registration method is, which is whatever you're using.

Yep that was the one, but yep it redirects you back as you said. I was hoping to get rid of the pop up redirect which occurs when clicking on the registration link.
April 26, 20196 yr There is no other URL. The pop-up might be the result of having “quick registration” enabled. I wouldn’t know what else should cause a pop-up.
April 26, 20196 yr Community Expert If you have forced subscriptions switched on, then you would always get the subscriptions page when visiting the registration URL. The only way around this is not to force subscription.
