In chrome I can't remove the upgradebanner.. It is the same in ACP - and on both my sites that I have not upgraded yet.

It is the same on telephone as well..I just had to upgrade..:P

It's the new tactic. Instead of an alarming red undismissable banner it's instead an annoying blue one. 😂

Running the support tools should fix this. If not, please submit a ticket so that we can take a look at this.

 

Edit: I've just found and fixed a bug here. Can you confirm that it disappears once you've run the support tools?

It was so annoying I just upgraded, but I think I ran the support tool too.

That didn't work for me. See ticket 1035391

 

EDIT: Actually it has now disappeared.

 

 

Didn't work for me either ran it twice now and now I have the support grey banner along with it and that has been paid and it won't go away.  ☹️

This is in the ACP not on the front end

Still having this issue myself. What's more concerning -- Admins of my community that do not have access to upgrade the site (only root admin has); are being given this alert. Is there anyway to hide the banner from Admin's that do not have access to upgrade the board? I thought clicking the settings off would hide this from their usergroup.
