The best language is automatically selected for users based on their browser settings.

Is there any way to override this and present the site in the default language?

 

IPS4 will override it by the members language and for guests it will use the browsers language.

If you're not happy with the choice, there's a 3rd party resource in our markerplace

Well it does create  a little chaos as those who keep their browsers in English (doesn't mean they cannot speak my sites' default language), tend to fill Profile forms etc in English (as it is presented) creating a tutti-frutti experience on a non-english site.
