I have quite a few forums and I want to change some permissions settings for groups. For example I want to change the Guests group permission to be able to read all forums. I do not see any way to to do this or am I not seeing it? It looks as though I have to go into each forum individually and change and save the permissions one at a time.

 

Unless I've misunderstood what you mean, you can also set permissions for all forums by editing the Group permissions. ACP -> Members -> Groups -> click the padlock icon to the right of the Group name. In the form, click the boxes in the top header where it says "See Forum" and "Read Topics". Configure other forum permissions on that screen as preferred, then save.

@Ford Doctor One of the sites I work on has over 150 forums. (Yeah, that's a lot.) The best way I found to edit permissions is to do it via Groups > Permission.

If you are the opposite - have more Groups than forums then your best bet is to do it via Forums > Permissions.
