Natea
Hello, I want delete all profile status updates from all forum users. How I can do it? I don't see any option in AdminCP to mass prune posts-topics or in this case, status profile messages.
bfarber
I'm afraid there is no mass prune option for this, however if you no longer wish to use the feature then you disable it in the AdminCP instead?

bfarber
I'm afraid you would need to enlist the help of a developer to do this properly. There is no built in tool to mass-prune all status updates.

bfarber
No, but if you disable access to the module for all groups via the Application permissions then they will no longer show up anywhere which is the easiest option.

Nice! Is it ok to delete this updates just deleting the related database content?
bfarber
I wouldn't recommend directly deleting data in the database. Off the top of my head, that would leave search index results in place but orphaned, and potentially attached files. Generally speaking you shouldn't just delete data in the database directly.
