DamonT Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Hi, what can I do to show one profile field under users avatars on topic view which should be visible only for admins? Something like "internal customer rating", it can not be visible for any users. So I need something like this: But visible for admin on topic view. Is there any option to do it via themes etc.? Bes reagrds, Damon
bfarber Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 There is no built in option to do this - you can probably accomplish it just by editing your template bits though to add some permission checks while outputting the custom field data.
DamonT Posted February 14, 2019 Author Posted February 14, 2019 @bfarber, it will be easier to show in topic view: profile fields visible only for AdminCP or to use normal profile fields and hide it for other users that admin?

DamonT Posted February 15, 2019 Author Posted February 15, 2019 @Adriano Faria, yes I know your plugin and I have it, but I don't know how to config it for such usage. I sent you private message with question about configuration but I didn't get any reply since September 😞
Adriano Faria Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 It's easy enough: In the ALLOWED GROUPS, select groups who can fill the field. In the VISIBLE TO, select groups who can view the field, in your case, Admins.

Adriano Faria Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Yes and if you don't want member to edit, then use the core permission MEMBER CAN EDIT VALUE?, two fields above mine.
