I have this setting turned off for one of my forum areas so that members can communicate privately with staff - I've just tested this on a member account and could only see my own post in there and then as an administrator i could read the member post; however when I logged in on a moderator account the member posted didn't show. Any ideas of what would be stopping this? on the setting itself it says " Users can see topics posted by other users? Moderators can (where they have permission) see all topics. You can use this setting to create a forum where users can communicate privately with staff.
Where can I change it so moderators have this permission?
Inside of the AdminCP
Members Tab > Moderators > Edit the moderator group of choice > "Forums" tab > Check "Can view all topics/questions" > Save
