Posted January 9, 20196 yr Hi there, I am looking for a way to allow moderators to view all records in a specific category. As it stands from my knowledge the only option is to grant the ability to view all records in an entire database (unless I overlooked something). I have tried to search for this, but I could not find any reference to it in the market place. Apologies if this feature already exists. Thanks, Dane Edited January 9, 20196 yr by danedeath
January 9, 20196 yr You can choose to have category permissions which differ from the database permissions in the category settings.
January 9, 20196 yr Author Hi, Sorry for my poor explanation, here is an example of what I’m trying to do. Category1 is moderated by Group1, this category has disabled the viewing of other people’s records. Category2 is moderated by Group2, this category has disabled the viewing of other people’s records. I would like like it so that Group1 can still view and post to Category2 but not see every user’s records. As well as Group2 being able to have the same for Category1. would I still be able to do this via the existing permission settings? Thanks, Dane
