How does it works in personal messages if I write to a user a message, this user reads the message and after he read I write another one and this gets merged with the previous one. I guess the receiver doesn't gets a new notification then?

No, same happens in forums. No new notification. Tou simply don’t know if there’s something new until you go to the message/topic again.

I already requested this in Feedback forum but apparently this is not important.
