NeedCoffee Posted December 12, 2018 Share Posted December 12, 2018 We're new here, hence all the questions (sorry!), but having gone through the permissions I'm struggling to work out something. We want to make a user a moderator of a single forum. But we don't want that person to be a 'moderator' as such - i.e. have all the permissions that the regular moderators have (from the Moderators group permissions). We just want to allow them the ability to remove posts, merge posts, edit other posts, etc. in that single forum we assign them to. What's the best way to achieve this? Struggling to see how to make that user a moderator of just the one forum now though? I checked the restrictions as you suggested, but cannot pick the forum(s) from there. It's crazy that you have to uncheck all to make the forums tab appear - as it means we now have to go back and check what we want. Is there a logical reason forums tab is hidden until you uncheck all? Your video is great - thanks a lot (What did you make it with by the way?)
