Rather than automatically placing at top of the pages, wondering if we can instead add it as widget/block in order to place on side bar or other location? If you will have a sidebar block with tags and 2 tables on the page how to know which table to use? Link to comment

christopher-w Posted August 24, 2020 Share Posted August 24, 2020 Hey, I love the potential of Filter by Tags but just installed version 1.0.4 on Invasion Community 4.5 and there's a few issues highlighted below. Images 1 and 2 show plugin working ok. But images 3, 4, 5 and 6 show issues. Quote 1/ This is default state on forum. Looks ok. Quote 2/ If I select 'The Guardian', forum is filtered. All good so far. Quote 3/ But if I select tags, list of tags disappears. Quote 4/ Same if I select prefix, BBC News prefix disappears. Quote 5/ I do not want to use Filter by Tags with VideoBox, so I disable in ACP Quote 6/ But Filter by Tags still shows up in VideoBox. Will only be removed if I disable Filter by Tags plugin. The above shows the DOM when prefix is selected. As you can see all three tags have ipsHide added to classes, when in this case, it should only be tags that are hidden. If I remove the ipsHide class from the prefix li, then I can click the prefix and it works fine. This is the situation with the default IPS theme and all other plugins and apps disabled. Second problem: when you click on "Show all" in forum, box with tags is empty. I have a question: is it possible to group tags like in this plugin ?
