Re IPS' Q&A style forums, for unanswered questions, what do you think to a message at the top saying something like this that affects community rep points:

I noticed Amazon AWS forums have this although it's rather crude looking, and it links to a help page explaining how it works.

My members never seem to rate up or down questions or mark them as answered so I tend to do it, not sure if it's due to lack of understanding the features so I will probably do a staff blog about it.
