They can set the initial price of the file but aren’t allowed to edit the price later? 

How do I fix?

i just looked at downloads and see no setting so no idea why can't change it after settings price are sure clicking edit on the file ?

I can edit it as an admin but my contributors see this

Ok part from the option to sell in downloads what other permission does that group have so I can setup demo on Dev site have deep look.

So this usergroup need be allowed edit content so in the usergroup - content - editing - can edit own content <-- clear downloads linked to this also because when unticked have same error you first posted and then hunted little more and click this option and it allowed the usergroup change the price :).

QUESTION  I end up allowing forum users to edit? 

There is no separate control for just downloads? ☹️😢

Would you be able to make a custom mod for this? I can pay.

 

The reason is because some contributors are selling items then switching the download. This makes customers mad. So I have to block that but I do want them to be able to run sales by allowing price and description changes.
